on september 28. several democrats are pushing for a vote to extend the benefits. house democrats propose renewing the program for $25 billion but have no way to offset the costs. the senate budget committee chairman were pushing for budget -- president obama using his weekly address to talk about unemployment benefits and their extension. here's what he had to say.
